Obstacle elements vary by unit, but every course in our fleet is built around head-to-head racing with a mix of these features.

Sizes and space requirements

Obstacle courses are long. That is the whole point, and it is also the first thing to measure for. A typical course needs a straight run of clear, reasonably level ground, plus clearance on the sides for anchoring and the blower behind. Backyard units start around thirty feet in length, and the big festival pieces run sixty five feet or more.

The good news is that they are narrower than you might expect, usually eleven to thirteen feet wide, so a long side yard or the strip between the house and the fence can be perfect real estate that a square bounce house cannot use.

If your yard cannot host a straight run, ask us about L-shaped configurations. Several of our multi-piece courses connect at an angle, which lets a big course wrap around a pool deck or patio corner.

As always, a phone photo and rough measurements are all we need to confirm fit. Our crews lay these out every weekend and can spot the right placement from a single picture, including where power should come from and which end the finish slide should face.

Build a full competition day

The obstacle course pairs naturally with our interactive game rentals. Set up stations, hand out scorecards, and you have a backyard olympics that runs itself.

For summer events, add a water slide as the cool-down station. Racers finish a bracket, hit the slide, and rotate back in refreshed.

A simple bracket board makes the day. Draw a tournament tree on poster board, seed the racers, and watch kids who have never cared about anything care deeply about the semifinals.

For younger siblings who are not ready for the full course, a classic bounce house alongside gives them their own space and keeps the course clear for racing. Plenty of hosts book the pair together, and we discount multi-unit deliveries.

Delivery, setup, and pickup are all included

Obstacle courses are the heaviest pieces in our fleet, and that is our problem, not yours. Your quote includes delivery, full setup, anchoring, blower placement, and takedown. The crew arrives early, walks the ground with you, and has the course standing and tested before your start time.

Multi-piece courses take longer to rig than a standard bounce house, so we schedule accordingly. You will never be watching a crew wrestle with velcro connectors while your guests stand around, because the course will be up before they arrive.

Built for collisions that never happen

Every course is commercial grade vinyl with reinforced seams at the climb walls and slide lips, the two spots that take the most punishment. Units are inspected between events and retired the moment wear shows.

The two-lane design is itself a safety feature: racers move in one direction, in their own lane, which eliminates the random-collision chaos of an open bounce floor. We still cover capacity limits and spacing at the setup walkthrough.

Netted walls and tunnels keep racers inside the course while letting parents see the whole run from outside. You can follow your kid from start to finish without moving more than a few steps.

Anchoring is matched to your surface, staked on grass or ballasted on hard surfaces, and blowers are positioned with cords out of the racing approach. If wind conditions turn unsafe, we work with you on timing rather than running the risk.
