Sizes, ceilings, and how to measure your venue
Indoors, the ceiling is the boss. Before anything else, find out your ceiling height at the lowest point over the intended spot, watching for beams, light fixtures, HVAC ducts, and basketball hoops, which are the usual surprises. Then measure the floor space and note the width of every door between the parking lot and the room.
Standard gym ceilings handle nearly our whole indoor lineup. Church halls and community rooms vary more, which is why we confirm three numbers on every indoor booking: unit height versus ceiling, unit footprint versus floor plan, and packed size versus door width. Three yeses and you are booked.
Power indoors is easy, a standard outlet within reach of the blower cord, but ask your venue whether outlets are on the wall or the floor, and whether anything else at the event shares the circuit. We will place the blower to suit.
If you can send us three phone photos, the room, the doorway, and the ceiling above the spot, plus rough measurements, we can confirm fit in one reply. Venues we have delivered to before are even faster, because the measurements are already in our notes.
One more measurement people forget: the path from the door to the setup spot. A unit that fits the room still has to cross it, so note any tight corners, stairs, or elevators between the entrance and the floor. Elevators are usually fine, stairs need a heads-up so we staff the delivery accordingly.
